Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)
Last weekend my trip to Kuala Lumpur was quite a ride! From Melaka, we took Transnational bus service and it brought us to the new Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). This bus terminal was opened in January 2011 to cater to international bus services. It is located near to Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT.
To city by train
If you want to travel to KLCC, you have to transit at Masjid Jamek; or transit at Hang Tuah station if you want to go to Bukit Bintang.
It’s really a hassle for non-drivers like me, when I thought taking bus coach is more direct and accessible to the city!
Despite the greater distance to the city, the new bus terminal is bigger, cleaner and is more structured. It has billboard updates like at the airport and thank god, there are plenty of seats at the waiting lounge. There are also many new shops and restaurants that could be pleasant to your waiting experience.
The bus terminal at Puduraya now caters mostly to inter-state buses in Malaysia.
Purchase Bus E-Tickets
If you are in Malaysia/Singapore, you can purchase bus e-tickets and check schedules at E-Ticketing.my site. It’s now fully revamped and many bus services are added to this online portal. They accept payment by credit cards and bank transfer.
